We are a full service renovation company servicing the GTA & Golden Horseshoe area. Our focus is on home renovation projects of all sizes both indoor and outdoor. We have over 40 years of experience in the industry and have recently decided to start Slate Home Improvements as I have continued to see the quality of work decline while prices increase. Our mission is to provide high quality work with the utmost attention to detail at a fair price. Slate Home Improvement is dedicated to focusing on each clients unique desires and providing a transparent and trusted service throughout the entirety of the project until each client is completely satisfied.

Our Process

After meeting with clients we like to show proposed drawings to the customer and give them an idea of what their vision looks like on paper, from there we work together to accomplish the project and exceed their expectations.

Our process includes an initial consultation, design proposals & costs, construction and finally finishing touches. Throughout each step we listen to our clients, provide constant updates, and never leave until we are all satisfied.

Preconstruction Design

The planning stage involves defining the project, identifying potential issues, planning and scheduling, the scope, cost estimation, and analysis of the job's needs. We work with top designers and engineers to make sure we are safe and get it right for the customer.

Design & Construction Estimate

Transparency and satisfaction is key to our business. We will provide proposed drawings based on our initial consultation and will not commence the project until you are completely satisfied. From there we provide you with a detailed agreement that breaks down step-by-step what is involved in the project. Our clients will be provided with a breakdown of the expected timeline as well as overall cost for the expected project.

On-Site Consultations

We will help your vision come to life and will develop a defined strategy on how to accomplish it. We will also set achievable goals, and meet them at every level of the project. We take time to fully prepare the job site to minimize construction dust and ensure the site is clean and tidy at the end of each day, providing you with the most comfortable experience.
